This Privacy Policy explains how Job Pod UK collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you visit or use jobpod.uk and related services. It also sets out your rights and how to contact us.

A. Data you give us

  • Account information: name, email address, password (securely stored), phone number, business name and address for advertisers.
  • Listing content: business details, service descriptions, licence/qualification details, insurance information, photos, portfolio items and any documents you upload.
  • Communication content: messages between users and advertisers sent via the Site, enquiries, quotes and notes.
  • Payment and billing details: billing name, address and payment transaction IDs (we do not store full card details if a third‑party payment processor is used).
  • Reviews and ratings you post.
  • Support and verification information: documents and evidence you provide when asked (for example insurance certificates, licences).

B. Data collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, searches, clicks, IP address, device and browser information, times and dates of access, referrer URLs, and other analytics data.

  • Uploaded documents (licences, insurance) are retained while your listing is active and for a limited time after termination to support any complaint or legal process; expiry dates are used to prompt renewal.

  • We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. These include secure servers, encryption of sensitive data, access controls and regular reviews.
  • No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a data breach we will follow legal obligations for notification and take steps to contain and mitigate harm.
